I had to put this photo up for Easter Sunday. The amaryllis is such an amazing flower, bursting out of it’s apparently dead bulb into such unbelievable beauty every spring: hence it’s name. After scheduling the post and going away for the holiday I realised I’d posted almost the same shot on 11th January… 😉 It was bound to happen sooner or later with this ‘picture association’ game I play. When our kids were growing up getting back to where you started constituted winning the word association game… All I can say is that resurrection is a pretty apt new beginning!
