There’s not too much in common between a grey winter view across the Venetian lagoon and this sumer evening scene in Fornells. I think it is the shape of the view across the water, the way the lamps in the last picture mirror the palms in this one – and the feeling of being drawn out across the water to the buildings on the other side – that made me put them together.
